DingTalk launches A1 Education Edition: automatically organizes notes, exercises, and error questions after each class

In addition, teachers can instantly generate intelligent quizzes based on actual classroom instruction and distribute practice exercises to entire classes, subgroups, or individual students with one click. Since the AI understands what was taught, which topics were emphasized, and the depth of coverage, the generated questions closely align with that specific lesson rather than being disconnected from the curriculum or teaching progress. After students complete the exercises, results automatically flow back into the system and are transformed into actionable teaching insights. Teachers can quickly identify knowledge areas where the class as a whole lacks mastery, as well as each student’s understanding of different topics, enabling timely adjustments to pacing and targeted tutoring.

Mr. Wang Yize, who teaches "Western Economics" in a college upgrade training program, began testing the A1 Education Edition during its internal trial phase and was among the first to integrate it into his daily teaching. The A1 Education Edition also integrates seamlessly with Qwen Office. Classroom content captured by A1 can be directly accessed and utilized by Qwen Office, enabling the AI not only to generate notes, exercises, and learning feedback for individual classes, but also to connect content across multiple sessions, building long-term pedagogical context and workflows.

A1 is DingTalk’s first AI hardware product launched in 2024. During this year’s 618 shopping festival, it topped sales charts on Tmall, Douyin, and JD.com, and won the German Red Dot Award for Product Design. The Education Edition retains the slim, portable design of the standard version, weighing just 40.8 grams, supporting up to 45 hours of continuous recording, and offering high-definition audio capture within a 5 to 8-meter range—meeting teachers’ needs for recording multiple consecutive classes.

To date, DingTalk’s A1 series has expanded from the standard edition to specialized versions for lawyers, doctors, and educators. What began as a simple recording tool has evolved into an entry point for AI agents to access real-world scenarios and integrate into professional workflows. The A1 Education Edition is priced at 1,099 RMB and will soon be officially available at DingTalk Education Lisheng Flagship Store.
