DingTalk signs agreements with multiple Wuhu enterprises to launch AI 1.0

On September 9, the "Smart Manufacturing, AI Leadership – Wuhu City Manufacturing Digital Intelligence Transformation Promotion Conference," jointly organized by Alibaba's DingTalk and Anhui Qisu Technology Co., Ltd., was held in Wuhu, Anhui Province.

The event took place against the backdrop of national efforts to promote high-quality development in manufacturing, representing a collaborative push by government, enterprises, academia, and research institutions to accelerate digital, high-end, intelligent, and green technological transformation within Wuhu’s manufacturing sector. At the conference, Wuhu’s Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Development and Reform Commission introduced national and provincial policies supporting equipment upgrades.

As an AI-powered business application under Alibaba, DingTalk has continuously enabled Chinese enterprises to seamlessly transition from paper-based operations into the mobile and digital era. Data shows that over 8,000 local enterprise organizations in Wuhu are using DingTalk, nearly one-quarter of which are in the manufacturing industry. Six out of ten specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative (‘Zhuan Jing Te Xin’) enterprises in Wuhu use DingTalk. Notable users include Shunfu Precision and Aietek on Wuhu’s automotive supply chain, as well as well-known local entities such as Conch Venture Group and Yangzi College.

Wuhu Vice Mayor Zhu Zi said in his speech: "Wuhu is a city with profound heritage and openness, but also a city brimming with innovation and industrial vitality. Our city boasts a comprehensive industrial system covering all 31 major manufacturing categories defined in China’s national economic classification. Emerging industries such as new energy and smart connected vehicles, high-end equipment manufacturing, and artificial intelligence are rapidly growing."

At the event, several prominent local Wuhu enterprises signed cooperation agreements with DingTalk, including automotive parts suppliers Anhui Aietek Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., Wuhu Strait Steering Systems Co., Ltd., and Wuhu Aerospace Automobile Connecting Rod Co., Ltd.; Huaxia Yuntian Aircraft Engine Maintenance Co., Ltd., the only fully Chinese-owned company dedicated to regional aircraft engine maintenance; new materials leaders Anhui Feilong New Materials Co., Ltd. and Anhui Meijia New Materials Co., Ltd.; along with Wuhu Tongchao Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. and Anhui Yangzi Vocational College.

Anhui Shunfu Precision Technology Co., Ltd.

Shunfu Precision, headquartered in Nanling County, Wuhu, is a nationally recognized “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in precision aluminum die-casting components for industries including automotive, energy storage, communications, and lighting. Anhui Yangzi Vocational College

Established in April 2011, Anhui Yangzi Vocational College has, over the past five years, built an integrated smart campus ecosystem based on DingTalk as its digital foundation. The college has successfully digitized core operations including administrative management, teaching evaluation, student services, and talent development. With all 14,000 faculty and students now on DingTalk, approval efficiency has greatly improved, paper document usage has sharply declined, and the inefficiencies of traditional manual processes in higher education have been completely eliminated—providing a replicable model for digital transformation in higher education.

Recently, the State Council released the "Opinions on Deepening the Implementation of the 'AI+' Action," calling for intelligent development across all industrial elements, enhancing AI literacy and skills across the workforce, and promoting reusable expert knowledge across sectors. To deepen industry-education integration, Yangzi College and DingTalk, sharing the vision of "co-growth between industry and education, intelligent creation for the future," have jointly established the AI Modern Industry College—a pioneering initiative. Based on DingTalk AI 1.0 and deeply integrating the YiDa low-code development platform, the two parties have co-created the smart campus service platform "AI Yangzi," leveraging AI to reconstruct the educational ecosystem.

The partnership will establish a joint digital talent development system, co-developing cutting-edge curriculum modules in artificial intelligence and low-code development. Yangzi College will build an industry-demand-driven program portfolio and create a regional digital economy talent training hub, extending its influence across the Yangtze River Delta’s industry-education integration ecosystem.
