Create AI Applications Using Natural Language

With the launch of the DingTalk AI Spreadsheet Assistant, users can now automatically generate AI spreadsheets, automated workflows, and data dashboards simply by describing their ideas in natural language. This significantly lowers the barrier to entry, empowering every user to become an AI application creator.

By entering just one sentence, users can have the AI fully automate the creation of a spreadsheet—from designing the overall structure and refining headers to setting formulas, generating charts, and building applications—all without writing any code. Conversations are instantly transformed into functional AI applications.

Automated Workflows and Intelligent Analysis

The AI can also automatically generate multi-step automated workflows, currently supporting hundreds of configurable automation nodes to address complex business challenges. For example, in inventory management, when the system detects abnormal stock levels, it automatically triggers alerts and sends notifications to relevant personnel.

The AI assistant also generates visual dashboards for each spreadsheet and provides AI-powered analytics, helping users easily understand underlying data trends.

30 New Field Agents Added

DingTalk's AI Spreadsheet has added 30 new field Agents, including multimodal AI capabilities such as AI video understanding and digital avatars.

Content creators can use the "AI Video Understanding" field to quickly break down scripts; live-streaming operators can leverage the "Digital Avatar" field to batch-generate explanatory videos; users can also efficiently convert various file formats using the "Format Conversion Tool" field—all for free.

Field Agents are already widely used in enterprise operations. For instance, Shandong Weiqiao Group built an AI-powered safety inspection system within the AI Spreadsheet. After inspectors upload photos, the Agent automatically recognizes image content, analyzes potential hazards, generates descriptions and rectification suggestions, and pushes整改 notifications via automated workflows to responsible personnel—significantly reducing accident rates.

Support for Baolian, Coze, and Other Platform Workflows

The AI Spreadsheet now supports integration with workflow platforms such as Baolian and Coze. Users can seamlessly import business processes built on these platforms directly into AI Spreadsheet, enabling cross-platform data aggregation and analysis.

Data Connector Hub Integrates 30+ Data Sources

DingTalk AI Spreadsheet has launched a Data Connector Hub that integrates over 30 high-frequency data sources. The initial release includes three main categories:

First, merchant backends from major e-commerce platforms such as Business Advisor, Alimama, Douyin Shop Merchant Center, Magic Compass, and E-commerce Compass, enabling cross-platform management of store data from Tmall, Taobao, JD.com, Douyin, and Vipshop;

Second, collaborative application data sources, including internal DingTalk systems like OA approvals, Teambition, and attendance check-ins, as well as SaaS tools like Jiandaoyun and Jinshuju;

Third, practical utility data sources such as foreign exchange rates, Xiaolanben, Fushu Technology, and database types like MySQL.

With the Data Connector Hub, users no longer need to manually export and upload data. Simple configuration enables automatic data updates, allowing seamless consolidation of cross-platform and multi-store information. For example, e-commerce brands can automatically sync Taobao store operational data into AI Spreadsheet for analysis, efficiently monitor daily performance, detect anomalies and risks, and receive timely alerts via DingTalk.
