Shanghai Jiao Tong University has partnered with Alibaba to launch the AI Public Welfare Support Program. Starting today, Qwen Work is open for application to all registered faculty and students across the university. The initial quota is 2,000 spots, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Users will enjoy a monthly allowance of 2,000 credits, with the benefits valid for one year.

Previously, the signing ceremony for the Alibaba AI Public Welfare Support Program was held at the Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Zhang Ansheng, Executive Deputy Director of the University Affairs Committee of SJTU, and Wang Wei, Vice President of Public Welfare at Alibaba Group, attended and witnessed the signing. Li Bei, Director of University Cooperation at Alibaba Cloud, and Xue Guangtao, Director of the Network and Information Center of SJTU, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. The ceremony was hosted by Shen Hongxing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Network and Information Center of SJTU. Both parties hope to take this signing as a new starting point to deepen AI public welfare cooperation and jointly promote AI-empowered education and scientific research.
