On November 6, DingTalk held the DingTalk Summit in Wuxi under the theme "The Way of Work in the AI Era." The summit attracted senior executives from high-tech enterprises, manufacturing experts, and AI technology developers across the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou region to jointly discuss talent empowerment, production efficiency improvements, and global operations in the age of AI.
Wuxi was selected as a pilot city for advanced technological transformation in manufacturing in 2025. With its strong momentum in technological innovation, it has become a model region for enterprise digital transformation.
Data shows that over 76% of listed companies in the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou area use DingTalk as their daily operational and management collaboration platform. Prominent local enterprises such as Fortune China 500 company Far East Holding, specialized and innovative "Little Giant" Putech Iron Core, leading RF front-end chip company Maxscend Microelectronics, and high-tech company Sync Electronics have all deeply integrated DingTalk into their operations, adopting it as a key platform for work in the AI era.
According to Shi Jiangfeng, General Manager of DingTalk's East China Region, Wuxi ranks among the top cities nationwide in depth of AI application within high-tech industries. Products such as DingTalk AI Note-taker, DingTalk AI Spreadsheet, Teambition, and YiDa are widely adopted by advanced manufacturing enterprises in the region and have been deeply embedded into daily office and production operations.
Take Far East Holding as an example—a large group primarily engaged in smart cable networks, smart batteries, and intelligent airports, with annual revenue nearing 50 billion yuan. Since 2019, Far East Holding has used DingTalk as its digital foundation, leveraging DingTalk’s YiDa low-code platform and API capabilities to interconnect legacy systems, enabling comprehensive management of production scheduling, material procurement, and other daily tasks. Meanwhile, the company has built a unified collaborative office platform on DingTalk, integrating systems such as official website portals, OA seal usage, HR, ERP, and CRM, through which nearly ten thousand employees conduct daily work.
Trina Solar Co., Ltd.
Trina Solar is a global leader in the photovoltaic industry, with business spanning more than 180 countries and regions. The company's unified collaboration platform “Tianxun TLINK,” built on DingTalk, has become the digital foundation for the entire organization. By utilizing features like DingTalk AI Note-taker and AI-powered meeting tools, Trina Solar has achieved highly efficient online communication globally, improving overall meeting efficiency by over 20%. Internally developed AI assistant “Business Opportunity Assistant” automatically collects, tracks, and analyzes business leads, predicts trends based on historical data, and provides personalized strategies for sales teams to improve conversion rates.
Zhong Yixin, head of smart office at Trina Solar, said: "DingTalk’s global capabilities, open ecosystem, and AI functionality are the main reasons we chose it. From an industry perspective, more than 65% of new energy companies are already using DingTalk. In the future, we plan to further explore additional AI application scenarios together with DingTalk."
Sync Electronics Technology Co., Ltd.
Song Yijun, CIO of Sync Electronics, shared a practical use case: The company leveraged the "intelligent data processing" feature of DingTalk AI Spreadsheet to standardize multi-channel sales data. Previously, aggregated data from various channels suffered from inconsistent formats and outliers. After adopting DingTalk AI Spreadsheet, the system now automatically identifies and removes duplicate orders, flags negative sales values for review, and fills in historical average prices as references. This significantly improved frontline staff productivity, enhancing both accuracy and timeliness in data processing. Song Yijun noted: "DingTalk is not just a communication tool—it is our enterprise's digital foundation."
Yi Yan, Head of Solutions for DingTalk's East China region, stated that moving forward, DingTalk will connect end-to-end digital production processes across industries, bridging the final gap. For example, in manufacturing, DingTalk AI can cover the entire chain—from sales orders, product design, BOM processes, production planning, work assignment and material issuance, to finished goods warehousing.
DingTalk A1, a breakout domestic AI hardware product that gained rapid popularity after launch, also drew significant attention at this year’s summit.
The DingTalk A1 is an AI voice recorder that leverages DingTalk AI Note-taker and large language models, equipped with over 200 scenario-specific analysis templates. It applies to meetings, interviews, consultations, client visits, and job interviews, efficiently handling speech recording, transcription, translation, summarization, and analysis—all seamlessly integrated into DingTalk workflows—earning its reputation as an "AI office powerhouse." Compared to similar products on the market priced above 1,000 RMB, DingTalk A1 emphasizes high cost-effectiveness. Within two months of release, it topped sales charts on Alibaba’s Tmall and TikTok during Singles’ Day, leading the trend toward affordable domestic AI hardware.
During the hands-on DingTalk AI Workshop session, Gao Haiming, Director of DingTalk Customer Service, demonstrated multiple AI features including AI Note-taker, AI Spreadsheet, and AI Assistant, guiding participants through real-world applications and firsthand experiences of DingTalk’s AI tools.
