Government, Enterprise, Academia, and Research Join Hands to Explore New Pathways for AI Empowerment

The event was attended by Qiu Yunli, Member of the Standing Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Jinshan District; Zhu Hong, Vice President of Alibaba Group and CTO of DingTalk; Qiu Wei, Chief Engineer of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization; Feng Gui'an, Director of the Urban Digital Transformation Division at the Shanghai Data Bureau; Gao Hongbing, Director of the Digital Economy Institute at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics; and Gao Junjie, Vice President of Strategic Development at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group.

Launch of AI DingTalk 1.1, Ushering in a New Era of Human-AI Collaboration

As the concluding highlight of the 2025 DingTalk Summit series, the launch of the latest AI DingTalk 1.1 in Jinshan came at a pivotal moment. Just on December 23, DingTalk unveiled more than 20 new AI-powered products, including Agent OS—the world’s first intelligent operating system designed specifically for AI—marking DingTalk’s transformation from a traditional office collaboration platform into a future-oriented intelligent operating system, opening a new era of “human-AI collaboration” in the workplace.

Empowering Jinshan to Become a Regional Hub for AI Development

In recent years, Jinshan District has accelerated its industrial transformation under the “AI+” strategy and is building the “Intelligent Computing Bay Area,” aiming to create a thriving hub for artificial intelligence characterized by active technological innovation, deep application empowerment, and a robust industrial ecosystem.

In his speech, Zhu Hong, CTO of DingTalk, emphasized that AI's role within enterprises has evolved from an auxiliary tool to an active executor, driving comprehensive restructuring across business chains. This trend aligns closely with national initiatives to leverage AI for advanced industrialization and Shanghai’s strategic push toward accelerating “AI+ Manufacturing.” DingTalk will leverage its latest AI offerings to precisely meet the needs of Jinshan-based enterprises in key scenarios such as production scheduling optimization, quality control, intelligent equipment maintenance, supply chain coordination, customer service enhancement, and data-driven decision-making.

He added: “We are fully committed to helping businesses transform their accumulated data assets into agile, on-demand strategic resources, upgrading rigid workflows into autonomous, intelligent systems, and ultimately forging organizational capabilities into sustainable, reusable digital productive forces. We aim to become the most trusted digital foundation for enterprises in Jinshan District.”

Unveiling of Multiple Major Initiatives

Several significant outcomes were announced during the event: the official launch and commissioning of Jinshan’s first digital public service center—the Jinshan District Bay High-Tech Park Digital Public Service Center; the establishment of the AI Service Ecosystem Alliance; and the first public release of the “Digital Plus Monthly Action” 2026 annual program plan.

The event also featured detailed explanations of Jinshan District’s digital transformation policies and introduced preferential support measures for relevant DingTalk products. Through a dual-driven approach combining “policy incentives and product solutions,” the initiative aims to provide fresh momentum for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and accelerated transformation for local enterprises. During the thematic session on “AI Trends and Practical Insights,” DingTalk customers—domestic GPU leader MXCHIP Co., Ltd. and Lixing Industrial Technology—shared their transformation experiences and customized solutions.

MXCHIP: Strengthening Information Security with Dedicated DingTalk

Since 2021, MXCHIP has chosen Dedicated DingTalk as its core digital infrastructure to meet stringent requirements for secure collaboration and IPO audits, advancing both organizational coordination and information security systems. Through private deployment, unified identity authentication, data isolation, and tiered permission management, the company has significantly strengthened its cybersecurity defenses. Recently, MXCHIP successfully listed on the STAR Market, marking another milestone Chinese high-performance general-purpose GPU company entering the capital markets.

Lixing Industrial Technology: A Digital Pioneer in Smart Assembly

Lixing Industrial Technology focuses on R&D, manufacturing, and sales of smart assembly solutions for high-end manufacturing sectors. Its products are widely used in industries such as batteries, automotive, new energy electric drives, 3C electronics, rail transit, aerospace, construction machinery, and medical equipment. Since 2023, the company has adopted DingTalk to address collaborative work needs and gradually integrated DingTalk’s security features and AI capabilities to drive end-to-end intelligent upgrades.

A dedicated exhibition area outside the main hall showcased DingTalk’s latest AI software and hardware solutions. The highly popular AI voice recording card, DingTalk A1, made its debut in Jinshan and quickly became the most talked-about exhibit, drawing numerous attendees to experience it firsthand.

Using DingTalk: Before & After

Before

  • × Team Chaos: Team members are all busy with their own tasks, standards are inconsistent, and the more communication there is, the more chaotic things become, leading to decreased motivation.
  • × Info Silos: Important information is scattered across WhatsApp/group chats, emails, Excel spreadsheets, and numerous apps, often resulting in lost, missed, or misdirected messages.
  • × Manual Workflow: Tasks are still handled manually: approvals, scheduling, repair requests, store visits, and reports are all slow, hindering frontline responsiveness.
  • × Admin Burden: Clocking in, leave requests, overtime, and payroll are handled in different systems or calculated using spreadsheets, leading to time-consuming statistics and errors.

After

  • Unified Platform: By using a unified platform to bring people and tasks together, communication flows smoothly, collaboration improves, and turnover rates are more easily reduced.
  • Official Channel: Information has an "official channel": whoever is entitled to see it can see it, it can be tracked and reviewed, and there's no fear of messages being skipped.
  • Digital Agility: Processes run online: approvals are faster, tasks are clearer, and store/on-site feedback is more timely, directly improving overall efficiency.
  • Automated HR: Clocking in, leave requests, and overtime are automatically summarized, and attendance reports can be exported with one click for easy payroll calculation.
