On May 21, the 2026 DingTalk Summit Chengdu Station officially opened in Chengdu. DingTalk Wukong established strategic cooperation frameworks on-site with four organizations—Sichuan Jule Foods, Shanshui Group, Tibet Pharmaceutical, and Chongqing Fumin Bank—while three enterprises, Changhong Xinwang, Tiqili Si, and Keruyun, shared their practical insights into AI implementation. Centered on the theme "Wukong—the world's first enterprise-level AI-native work platform," DingTalk presented Chengdu's business community with a performance report showcasing the shift from human-driven to agent-driven intelligent workflows.
Government and Enterprises Gather to Discuss Intelligent Transformation
On the day of the summit, Chen Wentao, Deputy Director of Sichuan Provincial Informatization Office, and Huang Peng, Director of the Department of Intelligent Development at Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, attended the event and provided guidance.
DingTalk has served nearly 26 million enterprise organizations over the past decade, more than 190,000 of which are paying customers. Entering the new AI era, DingTalk launched "Wukong"—built on the core principles of "autonomous execution, scenario integration, and universal accessibility"—to transform AI from an assistant role into an intelligent partner capable of independently completing complex tasks. During the summit, meeting minutes generated in real time by DingTalk’s AI Note-taker were displayed beside the stage, automatically organized after sessions, and synchronized to DingTalk groups, making "AI full participation" the most prominent hallmark of this event.
Changhong Xinwang: Enterprises Are Cultivating Their Own "World Models"
Chen Yun, Head of the Digital Transformation Department at Sichuan Changhong Xinwang Technology Co., Ltd., outlined a three-stage theory for enterprise AI development: Stage 1.0 ("skeleton") focuses on solving data availability; Stage 2.0 ("nervous system") enables inter-system collaboration; and Stage 3.0 ("consciousness") leverages AI for cognitive prediction and intelligent decision-making.
Centered on "improving internal productivity and creating customer value externally," Changhong Xinwang built its "Xinwang Tech" intelligent workspace on DingTalk’s exclusive edition, establishing a four-tier knowledge base architecture and accumulating knowledge assets across 15 business domains. Five demonstration scenarios have been successfully implemented: automated business analysis meetings, intelligent SOP assistants for new employees, full lifecycle "carbon-silicon collaboration" for contracts, intelligent project lifecycle monitoring, and digital human resource management. Chen Yun summarized that AI applications should evolve from "intelligent assistants" to "digital employees," ultimately becoming insightful, predictive, and reasoning-capable "strategic advisors."
Tiqili Si: Building an Intelligent Operating System for Agriculture and Food
Zhou Zichao, Head of the IT Department at Sichuan Tiqili Si Industrial Group, discussed the company's AI practices across multiple integrated scenarios. As a modern agriculture and food group spanning 22 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions nationwide, with over 150 subsidiaries, the company holds leading positions in feed, hog production, layer farming, and food retail.
Through digital transformation, the finance team was streamlined from 200 to 12 people, expense reimbursement time reduced from 15 days to just one day, and per capita document processing volume increased tenfold over five years. Process efficiency, revenue per employee, order interaction rate, and product efficiency all saw significant growth. With DingTalk AI, the group accumulates nearly 1.5 million minutes of annual meeting time—averaging 22 meetings daily—generating over 160 million words of AI-generated notes. The company has also built nearly 500 custom AI assistants and over 3,000 AI-powered spreadsheets. Features such as "query data with one sentence" and "Wukong automatically fetches egg and hog market prices on schedule" empower frontline managers to truly access and use AI tools.
Keruyun: From Tool-Based Foundations to AI-Driven Operations
Liu Tengfei, IT Director at Keruyun Technology (Chengdu), reviewed Keruyun’s three-phase evolution on the DingTalk platform: introducing communication and attendance functions in 2015, restructuring the workflow center in 2018, and upgrading to DingTalk’s exclusive edition in 2022, strengthening triple security defenses in "devices + network + accounts."
In the new AI phase, the company now hosts over 1,400 active AI spreadsheets, building a dual-track system of a "universal AI assistant" and specialized "Smart Xiao K" agents. Its knowledge base contains over 1,000 articles, with question-answering accuracy consistently maintained at 95%. An AI spreadsheet solution developed by a single IT employee within two days now fully automates registration, personalized poster generation, raffles, and gift shipping for thousand-person events.
From "Human-Driven" to "Agent-Driven": A New Paradigm in Enterprise AI Strategy
Wang Teng, Regional Director of Alibaba Group ATH Division's Wukong Business Unit, pointed out that by 2026, enterprise focus on AI had shifted from "why" to "how and when to adopt." He recommended focusing on 1–3 quantifiable, closed-loop scenarios where efficiency can be improved tenfold, identifying high-potential talent who understand both AI and business operations, prioritizing a 30%–80% increase in per capita output, while simultaneously reinforcing foundational elements such as digital infrastructure, platform selection, and knowledge management.
Hands-On Practice: Wukong Workshop
During the "Wukong Hands-On Workshop," AI transformation coach Jiang Li guided participants through mastering core Wukong application skills, clarifying key logic in AI transformation via real-world cases: as technology becomes increasingly accessible, businesses that effectively leverage AI not only improve efficiency and reduce costs but also free up resources to deepen business capabilities and exceed customer expectations, achieving strategic breakthroughs.
Attendees also experienced flagship AI hardware products such as DingTalk AI Pro firsthand.
Digital transformation is an endless journey, with AI serving as the core engine driving industrial upgrading. Marking this summit as a starting point, DingTalk Wukong will collaborate with Chengdu's industry players to build a new digital intelligence ecosystem and write a new chapter in intelligent advancement.

Using DingTalk: Before & After
Before
- × Team Chaos: Team members are all busy with their own tasks, standards are inconsistent, and the more communication there is, the more chaotic things become, leading to decreased motivation.
- × Info Silos: Important information is scattered across WhatsApp/group chats, emails, Excel spreadsheets, and numerous apps, often resulting in lost, missed, or misdirected messages.
- × Manual Workflow: Tasks are still handled manually: approvals, scheduling, repair requests, store visits, and reports are all slow, hindering frontline responsiveness.
- × Admin Burden: Clocking in, leave requests, overtime, and payroll are handled in different systems or calculated using spreadsheets, leading to time-consuming statistics and errors.
After
- ✓ Unified Platform: By using a unified platform to bring people and tasks together, communication flows smoothly, collaboration improves, and turnover rates are more easily reduced.
- ✓ Official Channel: Information has an "official channel": whoever is entitled to see it can see it, it can be tracked and reviewed, and there's no fear of messages being skipped.
- ✓ Digital Agility: Processes run online: approvals are faster, tasks are clearer, and store/on-site feedback is more timely, directly improving overall efficiency.
- ✓ Automated HR: Clocking in, leave requests, and overtime are automatically summarized, and attendance reports can be exported with one click for easy payroll calculation.
