Human-AI Collaboration: A New Paradigm for Work in the AI Era

In his speech, DingTalk CTO Zhu Hong emphasized that the essence of AI transformation lies in the evolution of human-AI collaboration. Future work models will shift toward "humans assisting AI." AI will become an intelligent agent with cognitive and decision-making capabilities, proactively driving workflows, connecting devices, and responding to environmental changes. Humans, in turn, will focus on setting goals and boundaries for AI, enabling smarter and more efficient decisions and actions.

To serve diverse industries, DingTalk aims to become a "factory" for industry-specific models and enterprise AI agents, helping every organization build and deploy customized large models efficiently and affordably. Currently, DingTalk has developed an AI productivity platform offering end-to-end services—from data labeling and model training to performance evaluation and API deployment—deeply integrated into real enterprise business scenarios.

Zhu Hong explained: "We pioneered a 'pay-for-performance' AI model—try before you buy, pay based on results—making it easier and more accessible for enterprises to adopt AI. Meanwhile, we are actively expanding into more industry-specific large models, collaborating with pioneers to explore deeper AI applications across vertical sectors."

To date, DingTalk has helped partners train China’s first specialized medical large model reaching the professional level of a senior attending physician—the Doukou Gynecology Large Model. Additionally, through collaborations with KUKa Home and Tongyi Lab, they have developed an industry-specific voice recognition model capable of understanding jargon, applied in use cases such as AI sales assistants, AI service quality inspection, and AI-powered insights.

Industry Practices: AI Adoption Across Sectors

Yunshen Technology

Li Chao, Co-founder and CTO of Yunshen Technology, said that leveraging DingTalk's capabilities, the company has built a digital collaborative platform for both office work and core operations. By using DingTalk’s project management, document collaboration, audio/video tools, internal collaboration efficiency has significantly improved. Furthermore, based on DingTalk’s AI functions, they’ve developed AI-powered applications such as an AI recruitment assistant and a smart customer service bot, effectively enhancing HR and customer support efficiency.

Jinko Energy

Wang Xingwang, CIO of Jinko Energy, shared practical insights on implementing AI in manufacturing. He noted that DingTalk’s AI capabilities deliver highly effective results. Jinko Energy widely uses DingTalk’s AI products, receiving positive feedback in areas like multilingual meeting translation and summarization, and AI-driven spreadsheet inventory management. Currently, over 1,200 AI agents are actively used each month within the company via DingTalk, covering nine operational systems including R&D, production, supply chain, sales, and service. These agents offer capabilities such as intelligent Q&A, task execution, data querying, and image analysis, comprehensively boosting departmental efficiency.

Tengen Electric

Li Peng, IT Director at Tengen Electric, stated that DingTalk serves as the "operating system" for the company’s AI strategy, supporting the entire process from data governance to scenario implementation. The company has leveraged AI Sheets to build AI systems for operations, dormitory management, visitor registration, and task tracking—improving management efficiency while standardizing data for future AI use. Built on the DingTalk AI platform, their AI assistant “Tiance” solves long-standing challenges related to matching technical parameters across more than 100,000 SKUs and high technical support demands. “Tiance” can retrieve product specifications, parameters, and case studies, then generate customized solutions—significantly improving coordination and customer service efficiency—and opening new avenues for staff training and knowledge transfer.

Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital Affiliated with Fudan University

Wang Jue, Deputy Party Secretary of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, shared innovative AI practices in gynecology. Under the theme “Building the Red House AI Ecosystem and Full-Stack Innovation,” she presented the hospital’s comprehensive blueprint for AI transformation. To ensure AI tools are truly “clinically usable, trusted by healthcare workers, and beneficial to patients,” the hospital is building a full-stack AI ecosystem spanning data infrastructure, algorithm engines, clinical applications, and secure collaboration layers. Leveraging DingTalk, the hospital launched “Xiao Hong,” an AI patient assistant, and “Xiao Bai Ping’an Guo,” an AI assistant for doctors. The former provides patients with end-to-end consultation and guidance, improving patient experience; the latter helps physicians quickly access professional references and medication guidance, enhancing diagnostic efficiency.

DingTalk CTO Zhu Hong emphasized: "The new way of working in the AI era means connecting AI to the real physical world and embedding it deeply across industries. DingTalk is committed to building an open, intelligent, and human-centered collaboration platform, partnering with all stakeholders to usher in the next era of human-AI symbiosis—where both sides empower each other."
