On October 24, the "Golden Stone Intelligence Opens—2025 Diamond Summit Mining Special Session," hosted by DingTalk, was held in Tianjin. The summit focused on digital and intelligent transformation in the mining industry, delving into how digital intelligence platforms can help traditional mining enterprises build new working models that are efficient, safe, and collaborative, centered around three major trends: intelligence, globalization, and green development.
Cong Weike, Supervisor General of China Mining Association; Gao Yuan, Digital Architecture Director at洛阳钼业 (CMOC); Zhang Bichuan, Head of Intelligent Business at Shaanxi Coal Caojiatan Mining; and Tang Haifeng, Data Security Director at Baiyin Nonferrous Group attended the event and delivered speeches.
Li Kaiheng, General Manager of DingTalk’s Heavy Manufacturing and Mining division, said: "Nearly 50% of China's Fortune 500 mining-related enterprises are currently using DingTalk, covering multiple industry leaders." He pointed out that technologies such as AI, embodied intelligence, and 5G have become core drivers of technological innovation in mining. DingTalk aims to serve as the "intelligent drill bit" for mining companies in the AI era, driving sustainable organizational evolution.
Launch of the "1+4+N" Mining AI Solution
DingTalk officially unveiled its new "1+4+N" Mining AI Solution at the event. The "1" represents a unified platform serving as the central backbone of the overall solution. The "4" covers four key scenarios: intelligent mine construction, production safety management, resource scheduling optimization, and supply chain collaboration. The "N" refers to multiple configurable application modules built upon this framework, such as underground personnel positioning, remote equipment maintenance, and intelligent energy consumption analysis.
Built on the core principles of “strategy as the anchor, intelligence as the engine, and ecosystem as the foundation,” the solution promotes deep integration of AI across the entire mining value chain—including exploration, extraction, transportation, and operations—through four key value propositions: global organizational structure, business agility, security governance, and green sustainability.
In his keynote speech, Li Kaiheng emphasized that implementing AI is akin to a modern-day prospecting journey, requiring multiplicative effects from scenario exploration, data mining, and algorithm refinement, while also highlighting the exponential impact of AI talent. DingTalk will assist large and mid-sized enterprises in building enterprise-level AI agent platforms from the ground up—first “building the roads,” then “running the vehicles”—to create intelligent infrastructure that is monitorable, measurable, and controllable.

Enterprise Case Sharing
Luoyang栾川钼业集团股份有限公司 (CMOC Luoyang Luanchuan Molybdenum Co., Ltd.)
Gao Yuan explained that as a global enterprise operating across 45 countries with 70% of its employees overseas, CMOC faces challenges related to language, time zones, data compliance, and isolated IT systems. By adopting DingTalk, the company has achieved seamless global communication, real-time multilingual translation, rapid low-code development, and established a unified AI assistant, effectively overcoming cross-cultural collaboration barriers.
Shaanxi Coal Caojiatan Mining Co., Ltd.
Zhang Bichuan shared that as one of China's first national demonstration smart mines, Caojiatan has built an intelligent ecosystem based on DingTalk called "One Cloud, One Platform, Six Centers," achieving full digitalization across production scheduling, park management, and surface-underground safety control. DingTalk has become the core platform connecting people, tasks, and equipment, enabling online workflows, real-time data, and refined management in attendance tracking, underground safety, and vehicle management, embodying the philosophy of "Happy Work, Happy Life."
Baiyin Nonferrous Group Co., Ltd.
Tang Haifeng stated that as a state-owned enterprise with a 70-year history, Baiyin Nonferrous once struggled with coordination among its 42 subsidiaries and 15,000 employees. By building a unified digital intelligence platform on DingTalk, the company achieved "full workforce on DingTalk," activating over 10,000 users, increasing integrated applications from 180 to more than 500. With unified task management, smart meetings, online documents, and the AI assistant "Xiaobai," enterprise collaboration has shifted from "scattered and unclear" to "unified and clear." The platform has also enabled end-to-end digital collaboration across procurement, contracts, logistics, and warehousing, significantly improving decision-making efficiency and operational transparency.
As the global mining industry enters a new phase of intelligence, green development, and globalization, DingTalk is emerging as a key partner for mining enterprises in advancing AI transformation, organizational evolution, and business innovation, helping Chinese mining reach a new level driven by AI.
