On November 24, Semir officially launched DaSen 3.0, an AI-powered collaboration platform for employees. As an internal one-stop AI agent workspace, the platform is accessible to all staff members. Integrating modules such as business agents, design intelligence, knowledge base, AI toolbox, and best practices of internal AI applications, DaSen 3.0 serves as Semir’s core vehicle for driving organizational transformation and upgrading work methodologies in the AI era.
DaSen 3.0 Covers Full Business Scenarios
Built on Alibaba Cloud and seamlessly integrated with DingTalk, DaSen 3.0 empowers a wide range of scenarios at Semir—from core business operations to cutting-edge creative exploration—enabling ubiquitous AI application. "It's not just a system, but also a window into the future," said Lu Lina, Senior Director of Semir's Digital Center.
Semir has long collaborated with DingTalk, having fully digitized communication, meetings, and OA processes since going online. Subsequently, DingTalk Teambition gradually expanded across departments including the Digital Center, Finance, and Audit, while rolling out applications such as DingTalk Live, online documents, AI spreadsheets, and AI assistants, establishing DingTalk as Semir’s unified office collaboration entry point.
In 2022, Semir established its "Digital Center," consolidating data resources from departments such as merchandise, sales, and e-commerce. In early 2023, amid the rise of AI, the company formed an AI project team focused on small-scale, high-value use cases, advancing implementation across business units. By October that year, DaSen 1.0 was launched, marking the official start of unified AIGC infrastructure development within the Semir Group.
In early 2025, Semir Chairman Qiu Jianqiang emphasized in his opening letter: "AI is not an option—it's a matter of survival." This elevated AI adoption from isolated pilots to a company-wide strategic priority.
Today, "AI for all" has become daily practice for more than 3,000 Semir employees. The upgraded DaSen 3.0 workspace integrates AI productivity tools from 13 departments. During the launch event, AI champions from various departments demonstrated their projects, attracting hundreds of employees onsite at the Shanghai headquarters and over a thousand viewers online.
At Semir, whether customer service representatives, designers, buyers, or store sales staff—whether frontline workers or managers—everyone can find a suitable AI work assistant through DaSen 3.0.
To date, Semir has created over 600 AI assistants based on the DingTalk AI Assistant platform, widely used in core business areas such as administration, human resources, production, merchandise planning, and logistics. In the future, all these AI assistants will be integrated into the DaSen 3.0 platform.
DaSen 3.0 Will Gradually Integrate All AI Agents
For example, "AI Sen Coach," built on DingTalk, is an AI agent specifically designed for retail associates. Store employees can use this assistant via DaSen 3.0 to simulate high-frequency scenarios such as customer inquiries and outfit recommendations. The system instantly evaluates the quality of language and service attitude, generating personalized improvement suggestions to effectively boost sales performance.
Take "Senbao," a mid-office AI agent: previously, handling abnormal shipping orders required multiple manual steps and took at least 60 seconds; after integration with DaSen 3.0, the entire process is automated and takes only 5 seconds—a 1100% increase in efficiency.
The design team once struggled with switching between multiple platforms and scattered materials. With DaSen 3.0’s introduction of the "AI Design Brain," designers now enjoy zero tool-switching, and creative content is automatically archived as personal and corporate digital assets. Compared to generic design tools, this system generates precise materials aligned with Semir’s brand style and pattern requirements, achieving a true leap from "usable" to "practical."
As the company-wide AI workspace and employee toolkit, DaSen 3.0 adopts a community-driven operating model, encouraging employees to share, create, and publish their own intelligent agent applications. The platform also integrates leading industry models and generative dialogue tools such as Alibaba’s Qwen, Ant Lingguang, and DeepSeek.
Mao Jiye, Dean of the School of Entrepreneurship and Management at ShanghaiTech University, pointed out that enterprises adopting AI should not only focus on productivity gains but also reconstruct production relationships. Semir’s deep integration of AI and DingTalk not only enhances internal efficiency but also provides a blueprint for new organizational models in the AI era.
