The key to truly realizing enterprise-grade Agents lies in data

QwenWork Event

At the 2026 Yunqi Conference held on September 22, Qwen Office officially launched a new product for enterprises: Enterprise Context.

This product transforms enterprise knowledge and business data into context that Agents can dynamically access as needed. Combined with Qwen Office’s Agent hosting capabilities, it helps businesses build digital employees who understand operations and collaborate effectively.

Below is a summary of the presentation:

It's a great honor to be here today. Qwen Office is an enterprise-grade Agent product. First, while you may have attended many AI Agent product launches, this might be the first time you've seen someone take the stage holding such a cute microphone—the adorable little octopus is also our mascot. We hope that during work, everyone can enjoy moments of relaxation. We believe AI should not only help improve efficiency over the long term but also bring more joy and rest into people's lives.

Context is All You Need

Many say organizational AI transformation faces numerous real-world challenges. What exactly are these challenges? We’ve summarized three key issues.

First, AI has become very intelligent and most general tasks can already be handled by chatbot-like tools. Yet it still cannot answer questions like, "What was our company's gross margin in East China last quarter?" because it doesn’t know which specific company “our” refers to. An AI Agent that doesn't understand your business cannot meaningfully engage in real enterprise workflows.

Second, while individual productivity improves, overall business progress remains slow. Employees skilled in AI may complete a full day’s work within hours, but there's no mechanism to share their experience across the organization, making it hard to scale individual excellence.

Finally, companies want to use AI but hesitate due to data security concerns. While cutting costs, they must ensure data safety—this is an urgent problem needing resolution.

The Key to Successful Enterprise-Level Agents Is Data

Only through proper utilization of data can Agents deeply integrate into internal business processes. We propose three critical components: connect, understand, and reuse.

Connect means integrating various internal data sources. Understand refers to effective processing—including compression—of data between connection and reuse. Reuse means enabling rapid sharing of top performers’ experiences across the organization.

Qwen Office: Business-Savvy, Collaborative, and Trustworthy

We aim for Qwen Office to be a reliable choice for enterprise-grade Agents. It should possess three core traits: understanding business, enabling collaboration, and earning trust.

"Understanding business" means the Agent accurately grasps proprietary enterprise information—such as which provinces fall under “East China,” or how “gross margin” is calculated—not inferred from model intelligence, but explicitly provided via connected enterprise data.

"Enabling collaboration" means instantly turning excellent employees’ experiences into shared organizational assets—for example, converting sales cases into team-wide resources in real time.

"Earning trust" emphasizes data security. I previously founded a cybersecurity company and deeply understand its importance. That’s why we’ve built a comprehensive security system into Qwen Office so users can feel confident using it.

Customer Case: Guming Tea

Guming operates over ten thousand stores. When launching new products, they need to quickly communicate operational guidelines. Previously reliant on video training, retrieval was difficult. If staff forgot steps, they had to ask colleagues.

Now, using Qwen Office’s Enterprise Context feature, all internal knowledge—such as ice machine filter replacement cycles, guava milk tea broth ratios, and tea machine troubleshooting methods—is structured and integrated into the system.

These details are unknown to external AI systems but crucial internally. Only when an Agent understands such operational specifics can it truly solve enterprise problems.

New Product Launch: Enterprise Context

Today, we officially launch Enterprise Context, enabling seamless integration between enterprise knowledge and Qwen Office.

All accumulated enterprise documents, meeting notes, group chat content, and tacit knowledge can now be connected and consolidated into Enterprise Context.

For every task executed, Qwen Office dynamically pulls relevant information from Enterprise Context to complete assignments according to company standards.

Core Challenge: Data Scale vs. Context Window Limits

Medium and large enterprises typically manage around 150PB of internal data, whereas even the largest current context windows support only about one million tokens. This means simply dumping data isn’t feasible.

Injecting too much low-density information risks exceeding window limits and wastes valuable context space.

Solution: Connect + Compress

We must effectively connect and compress enterprise data to increase information density.

Leveraging large models, we can map enterprise entities and relationships similarly to Palantir’s ontology-building—but at lower cost and higher efficiency.

We hierarchically compress enterprise data—similar to a file system’s progressive disclosure—ensuring only necessary, refined information is loaded when called upon.

We also employ graph database technology to establish connections among projects, personnel, and documents, allowing Agents to better grasp organizational dynamics.

Powered by Qwen Models

Backed by Alibaba’s robust AI full-stack capabilities—especially the Qwen series—Qwen Office delivers strong performance.

For massive multimodal data (e.g., images, videos), Qwen3.8-Omni-Flash efficiently interprets and compresses unstructured content, incorporating it into Enterprise Context.

Built on the cost-effective Qwen3.8-Flash language model, we continuously optimize information update efficiency to keep pace with daily enterprise changes.

Open Ecosystem: Supports DingTalk, Feishu, WeChat Work

Qwen Office seamlessly integrates across platforms including DingTalk, Feishu, and WeChat Work.

No matter which collaboration tool customers use, we strive to deliver a consistent experience. Our philosophy is simple: open doors, stay consistent.

Only through full openness can we serve countless industries in the AI era.

Customer Case: Fulika Logistics

Fulika leads China’s e-commerce packaging and warehousing logistics sector. Its sales teams interact daily with clients, factories, finance, design, warehouses, and after-sales departments—resulting in heavy communication loads.

Our solution: build digital employees on Qwen Office that join collaboration environments (like DingTalk IM) to directly assist with routine tasks.

Three Core Capabilities Behind Digital Employees

First, Managed Agent: Users can customize digital employees in the backend, setting System Prompts and data connections, with the system providing runtime environments.

Second, Enterprise Context: Ensures digital employees understand enterprise-specific operations rather than acting as generic chatbots.

Third, DingTalk collaboration capability: We redesigned bot integration so Agents enter organizations as team members with appropriate permissions, collaborating alongside humans in the same workspace.

Together, these three capabilities enable digital employees to fully integrate into enterprise workflows and achieve closed-loop collaboration.

A New Paradigm for Complex Project Collaboration

In traditional setups, project information is scattered across multiple group chats, documents, and calendars, making progress tracking difficult.

Qwen Office aggregates all relevant data, enabling humans and Agents to collaborate within a single interface, automatically summarizing information and executing decisions.

This feature is currently undergoing gray-scale testing with select customers and will soon roll out widely. Our goal is to center collaboration in a unified environment where complex work achieves closure.

Ultra-Fast Reuse of Frontline Experience

Outstanding case studies created by top salespeople used to take weeks to become standardized team practices.

Now, with the QwenNote A2 device, after visiting a client, a salesperson needs only say, “Turn our conversation into a PPT,” and a shareable knowledge asset is automatically generated.

QwenNote A2: True AI, No Recording

We’re redefining AI note-taking devices. Unlike previous-generation voice-recording cards, QwenNote A2 does not record audio by default.

After conversations are transcribed via cloud-based ASR, original audio is immediately deleted. A small green light indicates the device is only taking notes—no recording occurs.

This protects privacy while improving knowledge capture efficiency. We believe AI note-taking will become a major category.

Personalized Workspace for Every User

Different industries and roles have different work habits. Qwen Office offers pre-built workspaces tailored for education, finance, legal sectors, and functions like HR, finance, and administration.

Users can also create custom “Qwen Office apps” for fully personalized configurations.

High-frequency actions appear prioritized on the home screen—no switching required, everything visible at a glance.

Security: The Foundation of Trust

Meta once sparked security concerns when AI mistakenly deleted emails. At Qwen Office, every operation remains controllable.

Boundaries are set upfront; tasks run in sandboxes. Human approval is required when necessary. Post-operation safeguards prevent accidental deletions and allow recovery if errors occur.

We ensure AI actions are always supervised, giving users peace of mind.

End-to-End Data Protection

Enterprise Context consolidates vast amounts of sensitive data, so access must be strictly controlled.

Qwen Office requires user confirmation for every access to sensitive data, and enterprise admins can tightly restrict AI access rights.

We also analyze AI-generated content to prevent leakage of sensitive information.

Security Center: Unified Management Platform

The Security Center integrates identity, permissions, and data access controls.

Operations require approvals, protections are logged, and risks are visible at a glance.

Leveraging sandboxing, risk management, encrypted transmission, and device security factors, we provide comprehensive protection.

For example, the enterprise version of Qwen Office allows login only on trusted devices, preventing data leaks to personal computers.

Powerful On-Premises Deployment Capabilities

Leveraging Alibaba’s self-developed chips, Pingtouge processors delivering triple computing power, and high-intelligence-density Qwen models, we offer China’s most powerful on-premises enterprise office Agent.

Whether Max-series high-performance models or cost-efficient variants like Flash, Plus, and 27B Dense, all support local deployment.

Using DingTalk: Before & After

Before

  • × Team Chaos: Team members are all busy with their own tasks, standards are inconsistent, and the more communication there is, the more chaotic things become, leading to decreased motivation.
  • × Info Silos: Important information is scattered across WhatsApp/group chats, emails, Excel spreadsheets, and numerous apps, often resulting in lost, missed, or misdirected messages.
  • × Manual Workflow: Tasks are still handled manually: approvals, scheduling, repair requests, store visits, and reports are all slow, hindering frontline responsiveness.
  • × Admin Burden: Clocking in, leave requests, overtime, and payroll are handled in different systems or calculated using spreadsheets, leading to time-consuming statistics and errors.

After

  • ✓ Unified Platform: By using a unified platform to bring people and tasks together, communication flows smoothly, collaboration improves, and turnover rates are more easily reduced.
  • ✓ Official Channel: Information has an "official channel": whoever is entitled to see it can see it, it can be tracked and reviewed, and there's no fear of messages being skipped.
  • ✓ Digital Agility: Processes run online: approvals are faster, tasks are clearer, and store/on-site feedback is more timely, directly improving overall efficiency.
  • ✓ Automated HR: Clocking in, leave requests, and overtime are automatically summarized, and attendance reports can be exported with one click for easy payroll calculation.
